Resolved Question: any fun things to do in southern california at night?

my boyfriend and i are going out on friday night and we want to do something different than what we usually do since i'm going to be gone in japan for three weeks. we usually go to some place like disneyland since we both have passes (that should also show around where we are :P) and we often go to the brea market place to eat and watch movies. does anyone have any suggestions on some fun things we can do together? amusement parks are a little out of the question since we're only going in the evening and since we always go to disneyland XD thanks!...
